Sessional Instructor, Spring 2018 Session Courses, Department of Sociology

Position Description

The Department of Sociology is seeking sessional instructors to teach one or more of the following courses during the Spring 2018 Session, May to June:

  • SOCI 325 - Introduction to Deviance and Social Control                            
    One Section 09:00-11:45 TR (6 weeks)

  • LWSO 203 - Introduction to Legal Knowledge
    One Section 09:00-11:45 MW (6 weeks)

Please Advise: these courses are subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants who have taught for the Department of Sociology or for Law and Society over the past two years should notify the department of their interest in the position(s) but do not need to submit any other information. Other applicants should also submit: a covering letter specifying their qualification for the position; an up-to-date curriculum vitae; the names and contact information of three referees; and evidence of teaching proficiency (such as recent course evaluations).
