Sessional Instructor, Introduction to Research in Kinesiology, Faculty of Kinesiology

Position Description

The Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary is inviting applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following course during the Spring 2018 Session:

  • KNES 213 - Introduction to Research in Kinesiology

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in the related field with advanced expertise in research and statistical knowledge.

Course Description

An introduction to research in kinesiology with an emphasis on understanding the research process, including basic statistical knowledge, and its relationship to critical thinking.  Practical application of concepts through direct involvement in individual and group projects.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Instructor of record for the course including all grading and instruction.
  • Other assigned duties.
