Front Office Clerk, Olympic Oval, Faculty of Kinesiology

Position Overview

The Olympic Oval in the Faculty of Kinesiology is currently seeking several Recurring Part-time Front Office Clerks.

This position reports to the Guest Services Duty Manager and maintains the efficient operation of the Olympic Oval Front Office. 

Position Description

Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

  • Maintain strong lines of communication between Oval staff and user groups
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Respond accurately and professionally to general telephone, email, and in person inquiries and requests
  • Operate the POS system for public skating admissions, athlete fees and other monetary transactions
  • Balance cash outs and provide proper reporting for your shift

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Experience in an office environment with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in cash handling and utilizing a POS system is an asset
  • Must be bondable
  • Able to commit to working a minimum of three shifts per week
