Position Overview
The Haskayne School of Business invites applications for a Program Advisor, Industry. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 24 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.

The centres of excellence within the Haskayne Centres currently include the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership, the Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies, the Trico Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Centre, the Centre for Corporate Sustainability and the Global Business Futures Initiative. Established through philanthropy and community investment, the Centres provide unique and transformative experiences at the intersection of students, faculty and the business community.
Reporting to the Haskayne Centres’ Associate Director, Programs, the Program Advisor, Industry will manage the implementation and execution of the Haskayne Centres’ industry-specific programming and initiatives.
The position is expected to improve knowledge retention and student engagement and helps students bridge the gap between theory and professional practice. The incumbent will keep current with trends in experiential learning and trends in real estate and other industries. The incumbent will collaborate and work with Haskayne Centres and Haskayne School of Business colleagues and partners across campus and in the community to lead and deliver on relevant and impactful programming opportunities.
This position requires frequent interactions with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. A professional and mature manner, along with excellent communication skills, are essential. This position works within a framework of University and School policies and procedures and uses personal initiative and good judgment. The position requires a positive attitude, readiness to collaborate and skill in maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders.
Extended or alternative hours (evenings and weekends) may be required.
Primary Purpose of the Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to execute the delivery of curricular and co-curricular programming for students in various industries, with a particular focus on real estate, along with supporting the execution of other strategic initiatives as required. This position will be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining academic and community partnerships to enhance the image and awareness of the Haskayne Centres and support student engagement on and off campus in the area of real estate. In consultation and working with Haskayne Centres and Haskayne School of Business colleagues, the position plays a crucial role in establishing the Haskayne School of Business as a leader in real estate education in Canada.

Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):
The Program Advisor, Industry is responsible for the successful execution of existing programs, and continuous improvement of programs and initiatives under the direction of the Associate Director, Programs and with the support of the Community Engagement Lead. This position manages programs through the entire programming cycle, including the following phases: needs assessment/diagnostic, delivery, evaluation and reporting. This process involves extensive stakeholder engagement, data collection and effective project management.
