The Haskayne School of Business is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Senior Marketing Strategist.
The Senior Marketing Strategist reports to the Director, Marketing & Communications at the Haskayne School of Business and works closely with other members of the school's communications, marketing, recruitment and community engagement teams, as well as operational units.
The Senior Marketing Strategist creates, implements, measures, evaluates and optimizes the marketing plans, campaigns and programs to increase brand awareness and the profile of the Haskayne School of Business. The Strategist develops internal and external marketing strategies to promote student recruitment of the Haskayne graduate programs.
The Strategist leads and executes social media marketing, email campaigns, web-based initiatives, CRM, and paid advertising with lead generation as the primary focus. The role includes high-level, fast-paced marketing projects that require agility and confidence to adapt quickly, make judgement calls and take calculated risks to achieve desired outcomes and results. The position deals with complex issues and deep awareness of the post-secondary education and graduate studies market.
The primary hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M, 7 hours per day (35 hours per week); however, there may be a demand to work outside of these hours. The Senior Marketing Strategist is part of the AUPE Collective Bargaining Unit.
The Strategist is responsible for managing multiple projects (5-10 projects at any given time) across a range of marketing initiatives and target audiences. This position requires meeting multiple, simultaneous deadlines throughout the year and requires extensive experience in project management.
