VP Development and Alumni is currently seeking a Full-time Temporary Senior Systems Development Analyst for approximately 3 months.
The Office of Development and Alumni exists for the mutual benefit of the University of Calgary and its stakeholders and coordinates donations of gifts to the University, as well as engagement with UCalgary alumni and the broader community.
Reporting to the Manager, Data Systems, the Senior Systems Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance and error-free operation of Development and Alumni's core business system applications that are used by more than 200 individuals across campus for the purpose of managing information and relationships with donors, alumni, and other key stakeholders. This position also ensures data and systems integrity and works with business users throughout Development and Alumni to gather and respond to highly technical requirements. The work done by the incumbent is very complex and requires significant in-depth knowledge and expertise, as it directly impacts the functionality and operations of Development and Alumni's primary technologies.
The incumbent develops complex SDK customizations impacting the core integrity of these systems, leads data quality management, oversees the implementation of APIs, and develops ETL processes for the import and extraction of meaningful data. The Senior Systems Development Analyst liaises regularly with key stakeholders across the department, gathers business requirements, builds and implements solutions, and mentors more junior team members.
