The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2025 MKTG 493 LEC 01 (Strategic Marketing) on Wednesdays from 11:00-13:45. Classes in the Winter 2025 semester run from January 13, 2025 to April 11, 2025. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 14, 2025 to April 25, 2025, if applicable.

The calendar description of the course:
"Marketing strategy is explored in the context of overall corporate strategy. Integrates the aspects of the market mix into formal planning systems. The focus of the course is on strategic responses to changing customer needs and competitive activities."
Qualifications
- MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable.
- Previous post secondary teaching experience is a requirement.
- Teaching experience using Marketing Strategy simulation games (e.g., MarkStrat, Sabre) is desirable.
- Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset.
