The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2025 BTMA 455 LEC 01 (Business Technology Management Field Project), Monday 11:00-13:45. Classes in the Winter 2025 semester run from January 13 to April 11, 2025. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 14 to April 28, 2025, if applicable.

The calendar description of the course:
"Student teams are assigned to organizations in Calgary and the surrounding area to solve specific information and technology issues. Teams investigate the issues and present proposed solutions to the organization contact. Teams will execute the approved project plan and present a final report both orally and in writing to the organization contact. The project may involve interviewing, library and Internet research, and data collection."
Qualifications
- PhD or PhD ABD in Business Technology Management or closely related area, or MBA with extensive industry experience in Business Technology Management, or extensive senior position in Business Technology Management (such as serving as partner in Business Technology Management area with major international consulting firm) is required.
- Prior teaching experience with Business Technology Management is strongly preferred.
