The Haskayne School of Business is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Recruitment Specialist.
The Recruitment Specialist in the Haskayne School of Business (HSB) is a member of the Marketing and Recruitment team and reports to the Director, Marketing and Recruitment. The scope of the Recruitment team focuses primarily on the proactive recruitment and conversion of qualified applicants for HSB's current and future graduate degree programs, including the Haskayne MBA, Executive MBA, and Master of Management. The role also provides some admissions support to the Admissions Team in the process of conversion.
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for driving the achievement of enrolment targets across Haskayne's graduate degree programs. The consequences of not meeting enrolment targets have a significant financial impact on HSB's operations.
The Recruitment Specialist is a highly motivated, organized self-starter with excellent communication skills who can balance multiple priorities. In this externally facing role, the incumbent must initiate and maintain strong relationships with prospective companies and candidates in HSB's target markets. They are an important point of contact for a diverse population of prospective domestic and international graduate students at HSB and must always represent the school professionally. This position works within a framework of University and School policies and procedures and requires initiative and good judgement.
Due to operational requirements of this position, the incumbent is expected to work in-office and in the community. The primary hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., 7 hours per day (35 hours per week); however, there is a need for flexibility to host and/or attend evening and weekend events throughout the year. The incumbent must also be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required. This position is part of the AUPE Collective Bargaining Unit.
