Talent Management within People and Culture is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Learning Experience Specialist/Facilitator.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent Management, this dynamic role challenges you to design and facilitate innovative, inclusive, and impactful learning programs that cater to diverse audiences and varied learning styles. As a Learning Experience and Facilitation Specialist, you will design, coordinate, facilitate and evaluate training across multiple modalities, requiring a deep understanding of instructional design, elearning, and training methodologies.

In this position, you will collaborate with a wide array of subject matter experts, colleagues, academic staff and stakeholders to craft sophisticated learning solutions. Working independently, you will take the lead in developing and facilitating training resources that deliver tangible results.

This role is multifaceted, fast-paced, and highly rewarding, directly influencing the growth and success of employees. By creating and facilitating leadership, academic leadership and employee training from a People and Culture perspective, you will bridge knowledge and skill gaps, enhance engagement, and drive productivity. Your work will significantly increase the accessibility and reach of learning resources, fostering an environment of growth and development.

Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with a wide array of subject matter experts, colleagues, and stakeholders to craft and facilitate sophisticated learning solutions.
  • Deliver and facilitate in-person and virtual sessions.
  • Work independently to lead the development and delivery of training resources that deliver measurable impact.
  • Develop and deliver effective learning solutions by working collaboratively with subject matter experts, project working teams, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, coordinate, implement, facilitate, and evaluate training and learning programs.
  • Assess content to ensure it aligns with the modality of learning and meets learners' needs.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business or a related degree.
  • Five years of experience in a similar role within a human resources team.
  • Experience in an academic setting will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated expertise in training and facilitation and proven ability to engage diverse groups.
  • Proven experience in designing and facilitating interactive and innovative learning experiences that engage learners.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Articulate, Adobe Suite, and other elearning applications.
  • Proficiency in writing effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Leverages rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create learning for a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent project management and consultancy skills with the ability to lead diverse groups to success.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and e-learning.
  • Ability to incorporate gamification, simulations, and other engaging techniques to enhance knowledge retention.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships to gather insights and feedback.
  • Proven ability to create accessible and inclusive learning experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Strong network of instructional design professionals.
