Position Overview
The Department of Medicine in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Research Associate. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 1 year (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
This position reports to the Principal Investigator.
The Research Associate will be an epidemiologist. They will be required to possess a comprehensive understanding of the principles, concepts, technical aspects and practices essential to performing and directing complex research projects that have a chronic liver disease focus. The Research Associate's role will be multifaceted, and will involve directing the overall research program in collaboration with the PI and his primary collaborators. Research activities will encompass a variety of projects at local, national and international levels. In addition to helping design studies and conduct critical analyses, the Research Associate will also play a pivotal role in developing the concept, drafting, writing, authoring, submitting and revising manuscripts and grants.
