Position Description

The Department of Cell Biology & Anatomy (http://www.ucalgary.ca/cba/) invites applications for a Limited Term academic position at the Instructor level.

Qualifications include a PhD. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching anatomy to medical students, evidence of teaching quality, evidence of scholarly engagement with medical education and educational leadership experience.  In addition, we are seeking a candidate who can contribute to management and leadership of the Anatomy curriculum, to curriculum development and evaluation within courses. The ideal candidate will have training in anatomy or closely-related field at the doctoral level.

This position profile is 75% teaching with the remaining time devoted to service and/or scholarly activities related to education. There is no protected research time or formal research expectation. Duties include lectures, lab-instruction, small group instruction, exam setup and other duties as assigned.
