Position Overview
The Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Clinical Engagement Specialist. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 2 years (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
This position reports to the Operations Director of the Libin Cardiovascular Insitiute of Alberta.
This position requires clinical acumen, independent work, strategic leadership, decision making, time management and superior organizational skills. It is dynamic and has a broad scope that requires a diversity of skills and experience. The Clinical Engagement Specialist will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of a highly complex initiative with a high volume of work, competing priorities, and interact with a diversity of stakeholders.
The Clinical Engagement Specialist will be the Libin liaison to the Department of Cardiac Sciences, and attend the clinical nurse educator meetings as well as the clinical executive council in that capacity. The successful candidate will identify and provide leadership to site based champions at each acute care site to extend the reach and depth of engagement with the LIbin clinical membership.
