Position Description

The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to provide clinical supervision for adult therapy cases for the following course in the Fall 2020 (September to December 2020):

  • PSYC 680A - Lifespan Psychotherapy, Days/times TBD

Qualifications and required skills

  • A Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA- or APA-accredited program;
  • Current registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (or by the beginning of the term);
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based psychological interventions for adults, including advanced training in and experience delivering the Unified Protocol for the Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders;
  • Experience using routine outcome monitoring, preferably with the ORS/SRS;
  • Didactic training (e.g., coursework, workshops) in clinical supervision and ideally supervised experience providing supervision for psychological intervention or demonstrated excellence in clinical supervision (i.e., not merely experience);
  • Experience with telepsychology, whether direct intervention or clinical supervision.
