The Werklund School of Education invites applications for term certain Sessional Instructor positions for the Fall 2020 term in Educational Research and Educational Psychology. Sessional instructors will teach on-campus and/or online graduate courses that are integral parts of the graduate programs in the Werklund School of Education. Please view options in the table below:

Graduate Programs in Education (GPE) has over 1000 graduate students registered in seven (7) specializations. GPE is proud of the high-quality graduate programs delivered in both face-to-face and online formats. Position Requirements
Educational Research: Educational Research consists of Educational Studies in Adult Learning, Curriculum and Learning, Language and Literacy, Leadership, and the Learning Sciences. Desired qualifications include a completed doctorate in education or a related area, evidence of successful teaching and leadership experience in school, university, or workplace settings, demonstrated experience in online/distance education, and capacity to work effectively in a collaborative culture. Knowledge and understanding of the graduate programs and specializations in Educational Research will also be considered as assets for the sessional teaching positions.
Educational Psychology: Educational Psychology consists of Educational Studies in Counselling Psychology and in School and Applied Child Psychology. Desired qualifications include a completed doctorate in psychology or a related field, registration as a psychologist, evidence of successful teaching and leadership experience in workplace, university or school settings, demonstrated experience in online/distance education for courses delivered online or in a blended format, and capacity to work effectively in a collaborative culture. Knowledge and understanding of the programs and specializations in Educational Psychology will also be considered as assets for the sessional teaching positions.
Sessional positions are offered on a per course basis. The amount of remuneration is calculated according to the Collective Agreement, Schedule B.
