The Division of French and Francophone Studies in the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures invites applications for Sessional Instructors to teach the following courses in the upcoming fall session.*

LEC 02 MWF 12:00-12:50 Beginners' French I
LEC 05 MWF 10:00-10:50 Beginners' French I
FREN 213 LEC 01 MWF 10:00-10:50 Intermediate French
LEC 02 MWF 11:00-11:50 Intermediate French
LEC 03 MWF 13:00-13:50 Intermediate French
FREN 225 LEC 01 MWF 09:00-09:50 La Grammaire par les textes I
FREN 227 LEC 01 TR 11:00-12:15 La Grammaire par les textes II
Qualifications: Candidates with a completed doctoral degree in French will be given preference. The successful candidate must have strong previous teaching performance or show the potential for excellent teaching ability.
The University of Calgary will use online modes of course delivery in the fall term. The instructor of this course should be comfortable with online modes of course delivery and students' remote learning. The instructor will be responsible for thoughtful course design and meaningful opportunities for student engagement. *All courses are subject to budgetary approval. An offer of a Term Certain Sessional Instructor appointment may be cancelled in whole or in part by the Governors prior to the commencement of the appointment term (23.10 in the Collective Agreement)
