Finance Area Sessional Teaching Opportunity - MGST 451 L01-L06 W21

Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making

Applications are invited for those interested in teaching MGST 451 L01-L06 in Winter 2021. Classes in the Winter semester run from Monday, January 11th, 2021 to Thursday, April 15th, 2021, with final exams taking place between Monday, April 19th, 2021 and Thursday, April 29th, 2021. Please note that course delivery may be fully online.

MGST 451 L02 - Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making - MW 15:30 PM to 16:45 PM
MGST 451 L03 - Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making - MW 17:00 PM to 18:15 PM
MGST 451 L04 - Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making - TR 12:30 PM to 13:45 PM
MGST 451 L05 - Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making - TR 14:00 PM to 15:15 PM
MGST 451 L06 - Corporate Governance and Ethical Decision-Making - TR 15:30 PM to 16:45 PM

  • A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) or work experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Previous post secondary teaching experience is preferred.

The calendar description of the course:

"Develop an increased awareness of the importance of corporate governance systems and strong financial decision making systems in developing effective business enterprises. Specific emphasis on the resolution of agency problems, the role of the board of directors, compensation systems and financial modelling."

The application deadline is October 31st, 2020 at 11:59pm. Please note that we may begin interviewing candidates before the application deadline.
