Position Description
The Faculty of Social Work is seeking qualified candidates for two exciting clinical and community-based research academic positions at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (with tenure). The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021.
Applicants at the Assistant Professor rank must have completed, or be near completion of, a PhD in social work or a closely related discipline. Preference is for applicants who also hold either a BSW or MSW. Applicants at the Associate Professor rank must have completed a PhD in social work or a closely related discipline along with a BSW or MSW.

The successful candidates will dedicate much of their time to community-based research, teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs, attaining tri-council funding as principal investigator, submitting scholarly works to high-quality publications, developing impactful knowledge engagement activities, and providing service at the university level and within our profession.
