Position Description

The Haskayne School of Business invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following Business Management Technology (BTMA) course.

Classes in the Winter 2022 semester run January 10 - April 12, 2022. Registrar Scheduled Final exams are held April 10 - 29, 2022, if applicable.

MGST 217 Introduction to Business Analytics 

L01 MWF 09:00-09:50
L02 MWF 10:00-10:50
L03 MWF 11:00-11:50
L04 MWF 13:00-13:50

The calendar description of the course:  
Introduction to data representation and analysis. Students will think critically about business problems, gather, evaluate, analyze and synthesize relevant data, and create insightful models to improve the quality of decisions. Communicating and presenting quantitative analysis to lead managerial decision making will be emphasized while continuing to advance both individual and group leadership skills.

Qualifications:

Master's or PhD in Business Technology Management or closely related field, or MBA. Previous post secondary teaching experience is preferred. Very strong skills in Excel, Access and PowerBI.
