Position Overview
The Office of Advancement: Advancement Services is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Senior Analyst, Gift Processing & Tax Receipting.
The Advancement Services unit supports and guides fundraising, alumni engagement and communications efforts across UCalgary through gifts acceptance and management, alumni and donor research and prospect services, impact and financial reporting and data management.
This position reports to the Manager, Gift Processing & Tax Receipting, and works in partnership with donors, faculties, departments and other stakeholders, to ensure that all donations received by the University of Calgary are accounted for in accordance with the policies of the University and the Canada Revenue Agency. The Senior Analyst provides guidance to colleagus in the Office of Advancement relating to donations, requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency to coordinate bank deposits, applies excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders, and offers support for analysis, reporting and account reconciliation purposes.
