Position Overview
The Dean's Office within the Faculty of Nursing invites applications for a Research Assistant. This Fixed Term Recurring Part-time position is for approximately 6 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
The Research Assistant reports directly to the Principle Investigator. This position also works closely with other faculty and research coordinators. The overall vision for the program of research is to advance the science of cancer survivorship to improve health and quality of life for cancer survivors and their families. The specific goals are to:
The primary responsibility of the Research Assistant is to complete qualitative data collection (interviews and/or focus groups) as part of a research project. Tasks include assisting in development of study documents, participant recruitment, data collection, data filing and entry, data analyses, and assisting with the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, newsletters and other knowledge translation and communication materials.
